We Need Your Help
We wish we could tell you that we are sure justice will be served and that we will not loose this fight against abuse of power. However, given the fact that there are more people in prison in the United States than there are in Communist China (Which has the highest population of any Nation and rules over their People with an Iron Fist) we are sure that there must be plenty of innocent people in prison in the good ol’ U.S.A. (Scary thought, but factually true). We spend 6 times more on incarcerating people in the U.S. than we do on educationg our children!
With the economy collapsing there are strong indicators that the crime rate will do nothing but increase. You would think that our local county officials would have better things to do with their time then persecute the rural community for being prepared to defend their homes, property, lives and families. Unfortunately, there is a new incentive to incarcerate as many people as possible: GREED — many prisons are now run, for profit, by private corporations.
While many folks have asked me “How did this happen?”, “What led up to this event?”, “Why did Social Services and the Sheriff come out to your property?” (and I have documented what I believe led up to this event) I think that those questions miss the point: Are our public officials responsible for their own actions?
Unfortunately, we will not have an answer to that question unless we first prevail at trial against these outrageous, malicious and abusive felony charges. To work through the legal process requires an extremely competent criminal defense attorney and those attorneys are not inexpensive. We need your financial support.
If the power of the State, that power expressed through county officials is able to topple our basic rights to self defense, property rights and the only effective means for insuring those prior rights: gun rights our Colorado Constitution is not worth the paper it was printed on as Article II, Section 13 of the Colorado Constitutions clearly states:
“Right to bear arms. The right of no person to keep and bear arms in defense of his home, person and property, or in aid of the civil power when thereto legally summoned, shall be called in question; but nothing herein contained shall be construed to justify the practice of carrying concealed weapons.“
Clearly, our right to keep and bear arms, on our own property, in defense of our home, person and property IS being called into question through these felony charges.
Please, dig deep, see if you are able to find a few dollars to help us in this fight that has ramifications for all of the People in rural Colorado and probably across the United States.

This is how the system works: The State collects taxes from each one of us and then uses those combined resources to attack us one at a time. We are funding our own oppression.
While I would never advocate that we stop feeding the beast, the only way we may hold central power in check is to hold fast against the assaults upon our inalienable rights by banding together with focused purpose.
The legal costs for protecting oneself again the felony charges before me have nearly bankrupted our family. I know that that times are difficult for all and that we all face significant financial pressures at the moment. Our only hope is that “Many hands make light work”.
Please, find a few dollars to donate to our legal defense fund so that we prevail against these attacks on our fundamental rights. $5, $10, $25 — any amount would be greatly appreciated and ALL FUNDS will be used for the legal defense fund ONLY.

I know that with your assistance we will at least have a chance to enlighten our brother and sisters who serve The People through their County employment. These folks most likely followed a noble dream into their positions as public servants and have lost the path or possibly forgotten the oath they swore to preserve and protect both the People and Constitutions of Colorado and and United States. These County Officials are our brothers and sisters, they are members of our community and families and we need to reach out to them through education. One form of educations is fighting them in the court system and prevailing upon their consciousness that the rule of law applies to everyone in a civilized society, the the misappropriation of power to harm one of us, harms all of us.
